The BiG Friday Edit | 13

After birthday week this week has felt decidedly lacklustre…even despite the sunshine! I have a feeling next week will be better (it’s only 4 days long and then I’m off for 10 blissful days!) so I’m gonna take a deep breath and fight through to that moment of Friday Freedom.

In the meantime…

The Health Edit: I have never been healthier then I am at this moment. I’m on day 5 of the #RebelSquad April challenge (10 classes in 10 days) at 1Rebel. I am also on day 2 of a cleanse recommended by one Ms Gwyneth Paltrow. It’s one I’ve wanted to try for years and finally decided to bite the bullet and do. Though I’ve tried and failed cleanses in the past (I’m all for embracing healthy pursuits…it’s the follow through that I often struggle with) but with this one I’m not hungry or bored so I think it has staying power. It’s a seven-day program so by mid next week you should all expect to see my skin glowing and a general air of health and wellbeing surrounding me.

The Book Edit: I finished Talking as Fast as I Can at a speed Lorelai Gilmore would be extremely proud of. It was witty, fun and though I could have used a few more behind the scenes secrets (who do YOU think Rory should end up with, Lauren?!) I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m now half reading Pivot and half reading Sorcerer to the Crown as Pivot requires a lot of stopping to do exercises so can’t really be read in transit. I’m enjoying both books in different ways! (Find out more about all three in my April Book List post here)

The Screen Edit: I’m still all about Elementary as I work my way through season four. I love the characters, I love the relationships, I love the mysteries (and am getting expert level good at predicting the bad guy!), and I love Clive! If you’re not already a fan please start watching the series just to find out who Clive is. You won’t be disappointed!

The Blog Edit: Lots of good stuff to come next week – my first ever horseback riding experience, a surprise birthday tea treat with my friends (including a walk in the park with some completely casual photo ops like the one above!) and a new beauty post. Make sure you check in to get all the details.

As always, thanks for stopping by. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
