*Prepare yourselves….it’s gonna get opinionated and a touch political up in here for a moment.
2016 hasn’t been a great year for the world but I’ve been fortunate enough to have some pretty fantastic experiences and so I wanted to take a moment to look back at some of my favourite moments.
One of my favourite parts of the festive season is the sound of Christmas cheer being spread. In stores, at work, in churches and on street corners, carols and Christmas classics are literally everywhere at this time of year and it’s brilliant!
As the nights get colder and darker I find myself turning to the cheesy, carb-y comfort of my mom’s (legendary, in my opinion) macaroni and cheese recipe over and over again.
With only a week to go until Christmas (already?!) it might be that you’re sitting merrily by the fire smugly relaxed knowing all your gifts are already wrapped and underneath the Christmas tree. If this is you, congratulations! You are a festive holiday master and we salute you.
The UK has no shortage of charming villages, towns and cities but there are a few that easily top of my list of favourites.
