This week’s #WednesdayWisdom is all about trusting in the unknown…
I wouldn’t say that I put my complete trust in fate but I am, and always have been, a big believer in the idea that everything happens for a reason.
Though there have definitely been times where the reason is a complete mystery (those ‘Why is this happening to me?!’ moments of anger, panic or resentment that we all experience when things don’t go the way we hoped or planned) but I find there’s a certain peace in trusting in the idea (the hope) that THIS didn’t happen because THAT is going to be exactly what I need.
Now, I can understand if you’re shaking your head or thinking I’m a bit nuts but I don’t see anything wrong in believing in something that brings me comfort. It can soften the blow of a disappointment, re-energise you for the road ahead and even help you to reconsider exactly what you want and what your priorities are given this new reality you find yourself in.
So, the next time it feels like everything is going wrong why not stop, pause, and consider that it might actually be that everything is going right to get you to where you actually need to be to live your best, most fulfilled life?
