My lovely friend Lucy lives in Brighton and when she invited us for a sunny weekend away I jumped at the chance…
Located in the south of England, Brighton is an hour’s train journey from London but seemingly a world away.
Home to beautiful beaches, a thriving cultural scene and epic nightlife it’s the perfect place for a weekend away…especially when the weather is nice.
Luckily for us the sun was shining all weekend!

We spent the morning wandering along the seaside and exploring the pier before going to Morrocos for ice cream.
From there we explored more of Brighton’s gorgeous city centre, making friends (as always) along the way.
We stopped into Choccywoccydoodah to marvel at their chocolate artistry…
…took in the amazing graffiti.
…including a Banksy that’s rather famous.
We then headed to the Brighton Pavilion which was so gorgeous.
…admit it, you’d be disappointed if there wasn’t a yoga pic!
After a full day of exploring our legs were a bit sore so we headed back to Lucy’s place for some refreshing Pimm’s and a picnic in the back garden. Perfection.
The next morning we went for another walk on the beach and then headed back to Lucy’s to grab the car and head out to Middle Farm.
With tons of animals to meet, Cider to consume and an excellent tea room we whiled the morning away.
Thoroughly refreshed we headed to see The Long Man of Wilmington – a hill figure thought to originate in the Iron Age.
It was a beautiful day and so we made Lucy climb the hills with us….whether she wanted to or not.
If you haven’t been to Brighton you need to put it on your list!
